Earth Days At Bolsa Chica (Part 2)

On Sunday April 20, Amigos de Bolsa Chica joined with the Bolsa Chica Conservancy and the CA Department of Fish & Game to host an Earth Day event of interactive and informative displays, activities and fun at the temporary interepretive center in the north parking lot at the Ecological Reservce. In addition to information about Bolsa Chica, a bird count was conducted throughout the day to see which birds utilize the wetlands at certain times of the day as the tides rise and fall. There was also a touch tank and several displays inside the interpretive center. A shark bounce and free food completed the Earth Day festivities.
