The
activities of the Amigos de Bolsa Chica are supported entirely
from dues, private donations, grants and fund-raisers. Like any organization or
business, the Amigos must meet the costs of staff payroll, utilities, office
rent, insurance, educational materials and a myriad of other
expenses that are necessary to fulfill our pledge to acquire,
preserve and restore the Bolsa Chica, and to educate people about the importance of wetlands. With the opening of the
newly restored wetland, public education will become our
principal activity. You can help inform and educate the public,
young and old, about the value of wetlands by joining the Amigos
de Bolsa Chica. All contributions to Amigos de Bolsa Chica are
tax-deductible (FIN 33-0752003) as allowed by law under IRS Code
Section 501(c)3.

Community Contribution Program
Ralphs has one of the most generous donation
programs available for non-profits in California with a whopping
5% return on all purchases scanned with your club card!
Many
of you have previously registered for this program through our
Amigos de Bolsa Chica office and we thank you. Unlike our other
programs, however, Ralphs requires that all supporters renew
their contribution commitment every year.
If your were registered previous to 2008, please check to make sure you are still registered. All participants must have a Ralphs Club Card to complete the
online registration. If you have not registered or do not know
your Club Card Number, please call 1-800-660-9003 for
assistance.
For those who already have the Ralphs Club Card,
please go to www.ralphs.com/ccprogram.htm. Select
the participant option and enter our NPO 82972, your club card
number (located on the back of your card and begins with the
number 2) and contact information. Please note: more than one
club card per family can be registered, so be sure to register
all cards!
Once you are enrolled (or
re-enrolled), swipe your Ralphs Club Card every time you shop
and automatically 5% of your spending will go directly to Amigos
de Bolsa Chica a percentage of your eligible purchases will be
earned for Amigos de Bolsa Chica!
Albertson’s Community Partners Fund
Donation Program
For those who regularly shop at Albertson
’s and/or Sav-On, this is a wonderful donation program for you.
To register, you first must have a Preferred Savings Card. For
those who need to apply for this card, please go to
www.albertsons.com and apply
for this card.
For those who already have the Preferred
Savings Card, please click on the link
www.albertsons.com/cp/. Follow
the steps for shoppers to enroll in the donation program by
entering your card number and your phone number. Next click on
“Find a Partner.” Under name, enter Amigos de Bolsa Chica, city
as Huntington Beach and the state California. Click on “Find
Partners.” The Amigos de Bolsa Chica information will appear on
your screen. Check the box and then click on “Add Selected
Partners.”
If you have any difficulty with your registration, please
contact Amigos' office (714) 840-1575. You do not need to
be an Amigos member to sign up for any of our donation programs,
so please encourage your friends and family to register as
well. Without any money out of your pocket, your registration
guarantees donation funds will be used for our educational
programs. It simply is that easy.

Our newest partner is Giveline. Donation Program
After many months, we are thrilled to report that our eScrip
donation account now reflects our Amigos de Bolsa Chica name
with our new 501c3 tax status. We want to thank everyone who
signed up for this donation program under the Bolsa Chica
Foundation. Your registration has been preserved under our
group ID 500000659.
The beauty about this donation program is
that over 150 merchants are registered through this program,
including Vons, Macy’s and many online sites. To register,
please click on the link
escrip.com/. On the upper link
bar, click on members/supporters, then click on Sign Up. From
there, you will enter the group ID 500000659 to begin your
registration process. Because this program is associated with
many merchants, contributions are calculated by the store cards
and credit cards entered on the secured site. Once you have
entered all your information and reviewed your summary, complete
the registration process. eScrip will automatically send you
information and updates about all the many businesses and
services that participate in making donations. Donations from
the program are calculated monthly and then deposited into our
bank account.
